Riverside Partners with Haven Hospice for Dementia Training in Jacksonville

Riverside Post Acute in Jacksonville, Fla., recently partnered with Haven Hospice to host a well-attended dementia training that brought together healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community partners, including members of the Mayo Clinic Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. The immersive training simulated the daily challenges faced by individuals living with dementia. Riverside and Haven Hospice also co-host an ongoing public dementia support group, meeting monthly at Riverside. The initiative aligns with Riverside’s commitment to advancing dementia care through its Journeys Memory Care program—a person-centered model designed to support residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being in a secure, homelike environment.
